Curriculum, Teaching and Learning

Developing a curriculum that is unique to your setting, staff team and children is vitally important to outstanding practice. It can be a daunting task to develop your own curriculum, ethos and philosophy and with my support I can guide you and suggest how to develop.

Challenge

Initial assessment of setting, maybe there are areas you feel need improvements? Are children not settled? Does something feel outdated or in need of review? Maybe you have an OFSTED inspection due and would like to obtain an initial idea of areas to improve?

Action

I offer an initial assessment looking at the current practice, what is currently working well and offering different perspectives and ideas for what could be improved. I will consider the setting as a whole, as well as looking at individual areas of the environment and daily working routine.

Outcome

To support and nourish the environment, provide supported teaching experiences to improve the overall delivery of Early years provision in your setting.
