The Leadership Partner Programme is a long-term, supportive relationship between you and me. It's not a checklist.
It's not a monthly meeting where we work through the same agenda regardless of what's happening in your setting.
And it's not about me telling you what you should do.
It's about having an experienced professional alongside you.
Someone who gets to know you, understands your setting and can help you think clearly when things become complicated.
Some months we might spend our time discussing your team.
Another month it might be your curriculum, a safeguarding question, an Ofsted concern, a difficult staffing situation or a decision you've been putting off.
Your time is yours.
We focus on what matters to you and your setting at that moment.
Why I created the Leadership Partner Programme
When I was a nursery owner, I created what I thought was a really strong safeguarding display for our staff room.
I wanted to make sure everything was current, accurate and appropriate, so I decided to ask for some professional feedback.
I contacted my local council Early Years team and an Early Years consultant.
Both wanted over £150 simply to look at the display and provide feedback.
It was one small example of something I experienced repeatedly as a nursery owner.
Sometimes you don't need a full consultancy project. You don't need someone to spend a day in your setting.
You just need to be able to ask someone you trust, "Can you have a look at this?"
That experience stayed with me. It's one of the reasons I created Early Insights.
I wanted to create a different kind of support — one where Early Years leaders could have access to an experienced professional on an ongoing basis, without every conversation becoming a large consultancy project.
Because leading an Early Years setting shouldn't mean having to figure everything out alone.
How the partnership works
One dedicated two-hour meeting every month
At the heart of the programme is a two-hour online meeting every month.
Two hours that are completely focused on you, your setting and the things that matter most.
There is no fixed agenda.
Instead, we'll use the time to explore whatever you need support with.

Developing your leadership approach, making decisions and navigating challenges.
Staffing & Teams
Recruitment, performance, difficult conversations, team dynamics and staff development.
Curriculum & Practice
Reflecting on your curriculum, teaching, learning, planning and provision.

Identifying priorities, evaluating your practice and turning ideas into meaningful action.
Ofsted & Inspection
Understanding expectations, preparing for inspection and building confidence in your practice.
Safeguarding
Talking through questions, reviewing approaches and considering how to strengthen practice.
Policies & Procedures
Making sure your documentation is purposeful, appropriate and supports the way your setting actually operates.
Parents & Relationships
Thinking through difficult conversations, communication and relationships with families.
And sometimes...
you might simply need to talk something through.
That's just as important.
What happens each month?
Before our meeting
You can reflect on what's currently happening in your setting and identify anything you'd like to discuss.
You don't need to prepare a presentation or complete a long agenda.
During our meeting
We spend two focused hours talking through your priorities.
I'll listen, ask questions, challenge your thinking where appropriate and offer practical advice based on my experience.
After our meeting
You'll receive clear action points so that you know what you're taking forward.
And, depending on your membership level, you'll have continued support between meetings.
The aim isn't to give you more work. It's to help you make better decisions about the work that really matters.

I've spent more than 20 years working in Early Years.
I've owned and led a nursery that was graded Outstanding twice, worked as an Early Years lecturer, and now support settings across the UK through Early Insights.
I've experienced the responsibility of leading a setting, supporting a team, making difficult decisions and being accountable for the quality of provision.
I've also experienced what it's like to sometimes simply need another experienced person to talk to.
I don't pretend to have all the answers.
